Creative Size Guide
Find the right pixel size for an ad, post, cover or thumbnail on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Ads, X, Pinterest and TikTok. Each size comes from the platform's own documentation and links to it, with the date it was checked. Copy the dimensions, or download a blank template at the exact size with safe areas marked wherever the platform states them.

How to use it
- Search by name, placement, pixel size or ratio (for example "stories", "1080 x 1350" or "16:9"), or browse the list.
- Narrow the list with the platform, format and placement filters.
- Check the card: size, whether it's the recommended or minimum size, aspect ratio, file types and size limit, video length and safe-area guidance.
- Click Copy dimensions to copy the size (for example 1080 × 1350) for your design tool or brief.
- Download a blank PNG or SVG template at the exact pixel size, with centre guides and any official safe area marked.
- Before final production, open the official source on the card and confirm nothing has changed.
Where the sizes come from
- Every entry was checked against the platform's official documentation on 11 October 2026: Meta's Facebook Ads Guide and the Facebook and Instagram Help Centres, LinkedIn Help, YouTube Help, Google Ads Help, X for Business, Pinterest Business help and TikTok Ads Manager help.
- Each card links to the exact page it came from and shows the date it was verified. If a page doesn't state something, such as a file-size limit or a safe area, the card leaves it out instead of guessing.
- The X ad specs page blocks automated reading, so its figures were checked against an Internet Archive copy of the official page captured on 11 July 2026. Those cards say so.
- Sizes are labelled as recommended, minimum, maximum, standard or display size, matching how the platform describes them.
- Aspect ratios use the platform's own label where it gives one. Otherwise the width and height are reduced by their greatest common divisor (1080 × 1350 becomes 4:5), and sizes within 1% of a common ratio get its name (1200 × 628 is 1.91:1).
- Safe areas are drawn only when the platform states them, for example Meta's guidance to keep roughly 14% of the top, 35% of the bottom and 6% of each side of Stories and Reels free of text and logos, or YouTube's 1235 × 338 px banner safe area.
- Templates are drawn by your browser at the exact pixel size. Nothing is uploaded.
