Competitor Positioning Planner
Turn your own notes on competitors, your strengths and your weaknesses into a positioning framework: positioning statements, a comparison framework, differentiators, key messages, gaps and risks, and a checklist of what to verify. It's for founders and marketers deciding how to stand apart in a crowded market. It never adds facts about competitors, and every section is editable.

How to use it
- Enter your brand, offer and target audience.
- List competitors one per line as “Name: notes”, using only information you've checked yourself. This field is required.
- List your genuine strengths, one per line (required), and where you're weaker (optional, but it makes the plan more honest).
- Choose your price position (budget, mid-range or premium) and the language, then press Generate.
- Edit the framework in place and work through the “What to verify” checklist. Press Regenerate for other statement options.
- Copy all or Export .md to share with your team. Signed in, use Save at the top of the tool.
How it works
- AI mode is used only when an AI provider is set up on BrandNXT. Your notes go from BrandNXT's server to the model, which is told to use only the competitor information you provided, never to add facts about competitors or invent statistics, and to present comparative claims as things to verify.
- Template mode (labelled “Template output”) turns your notes into the framework. For each competitor it repeats your notes and lists what to check: price level, main offer, who they target, channels and what reviews praise and criticise.
- Positioning statements combine your audience, offer, price position and strengths, in the familiar “For [audience], [brand] is the … choice for …” form.
- The suggested positioning map uses price on one axis and the dimension your first strength wins on for the other. Plot competitors only from verified information.
- Each weakness becomes a risk with three honest options: improve it, reframe it as a trade-off, or don't compete on it. Your price position adds a matching risk, such as how easily a low price is copied.
- Template output for this tool is in English. A Hindi framework needs the AI generator.
